When you’ve been to one All Bar One, you’ve been to them all. This one’s slightly different from the other one in town in that it’s more rectangular, otherwise it’s the same. Same drinks, same food, same atmosphere. Since it’s a cut-and-paste bar, I was sorely tempted to cut-and-paste the old writeup too.
The All Bar One chain is part of the Mitchells & Butlers empire, as are all the Nicholson’s pubs in town.
All the same beers as every other venue, namely Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, Harviestoun Schiehallion, Aspall cider, Amstell, Peroni, Tennent’s Lager, Pilsner Urquell, Grolsch, Estrella Damm.
It was around £9.95 for a pint of Schiehallion, half a pint of Sierra Nevada and a ginger beer. That probably works out at over £4 a pint. Since beer doesn’t even feature on their “drinks menu” I can’t cheat to confirm that, but it just goes to show that beer drinkers aren’t really the target audience.
Mains from £8 to £14.50, things like Thai curry, steak, tempura fish and chips etc. A range of burgers from £8 to £11. The breakfast menu is from around £4 to £6.50 and available until mid day.
They’ve got a cocktail-making class and wine tasting events. More details in the bar.
